General terms & conditions

The Terms and Conditions stated on this page apply to the use of and access to www.sohighsoho.co.uk. By using this website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated here.

1. Payments and Orders

1.1 Payments
We accept Credit Card, Debit Card payments via STRIPE or PAYPAL.

Credit and Debit Cards we accept: MasterCard / Visa / Visa Delta / Visa Electron / Visa Purchasing / Solo / Switch.

Goods purchased on this site and in-store will not be delivered until the customer's funds that have been paid to So High Soho Ltd have cleared in full.

1.2 Order Notes
Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Sterling. Once you have placed your order, a confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers. So High Soho Ltd monitor prices on a daily basis.

We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions, or human error. This website operates on an 'invitation to treat' basis and not as an 'offer for sale' as a result, So High Soho Ltd reserves the right to decline orders for bulk or high value purchases.

1.3 Credit Card Security
At this stage, you will be passed on to a Secure Order Processing page, your details will be encrypted by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details.

2. Delivery

All of our items can be sent to you via post for next day delivery if items are in stock and the order is made by 10am  or collected in store.

Please not that our delivery and Click & Collect services are based on working days. Weekends, Bank Holidays and other closed days are not included.

2.1 FREE Click & Collect Service – London based
At no extra cost you can have your online order delivered to our London store for FREE pick-up.

Same day
All orders received before 12 pm Monday to Friday will be picked and ready for collection from 5pm the same working day. You will be notified via email once your order is ready to be collected.

Next day
All orders received after 4 pm Monday to Friday will be picked and ready for collection from 1pm the next working day. You will be notified via email once your order is ready to be collected.

All in-store collections are subject to stock availability. Please section 1- 3 weeks for 'Delayed and Out of Stock Items'.

2.2 Standard Delivery – 24 hr Tracked UK
Fixed flat rate of £7.50, no matter the size!

Our standard delivery UK orders are sent via a 1day tracked service from process and dispatch for orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday.

2.3 International orders
We ship internationally to most European and some non-European countries via Airsure®

All international orders are subject to individual rates and varying delivery times.

Goods in stock will be processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days.

2.4 Delayed and Out of Stock Items
In the unfortunate case that your order or item(s) is temporarily unavailable or out of stock and it cannot be supplied with the rest of your order, our Customer Service Team will endeavour to notify you directly as soon as possible of such changes before anything is dispatched.

We will always try our upmost to offer an alternative or when necessary, a full refund of the price paid.

In case that your order is urgent, please do contact Customer Service Team 020 7287 1295 with your full name, order number and postcode.

2.5 Late Delivery
If the order arrives too late for your party, you can return it in the normal way, and  if we are at fault, we will refund all postage costs. A reason why we may not be at fault is that you have selected to use first class post, when you should have used Express delivery or you were absent during delivery, in this case a 25% handling charge will be applied. If you are returning a package please use registered post or obtain a certificate of posting for your own protection please note proof of posting is not proof of delivery.

Please note that some of the product images displayed on www.sohighsoho.co.uk are outsourced and may vary from the pictures displayed. Our suppliers hold the right to operate slight changes to the products at any given time without previous warning. However these small changes should not interfere with the quality or with the general concept of any item in question. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Returns Policy & Guarantee

3.1 Satisfaction
If you're happy we're happy. We at So High Soho would like your shopping experience to be a beautiful thing. We offer the highest standards. Our fabulous staff are always happy, ready and willing to help and advise you on your mission. Be it for an amazing disguise or a secret surprise we'll find the best solution for your shopping needs. If you need to return part or all of your order, it's easy and you have 14 days to do so.

All returns are acknowledged by email or mail and refunds will be credited to the original payment method. Your bank/credit card provider can take up to 10 working days to credit your account after we have notified them of a refund.

Please note our seasonal items sit outside of our standard return policy. Please see section 3.4 for full details.

3.2 Online returns
Items purchased from the So High Soho website may be returned for a refund (excluding postage) within 14 days of purchase shown on email order confirmation.

You must take full responsibility for our goods while they are in your possession. Any item(s) for return MUST be sent back in its original posted condition, together with any original packaging, unopened and unused without any seals, labels or tags tampered.

Before sending any parcels back to us please phone us for a Returns Authorization Number which you can get by contacting the So High Soho Customer Service team: 020 7287 1295 Monday to Friday 11am–5pm G.M.T., or e-mail at shop@sohighsoho.co.uk and we will make arrangements with you to return. You will need to confirm your full name, order number and postcode, so please have these available if you phone or in the body of your email. To enure your return is processed effectively, you MUST include your Returns Authorization Number with your parcel back to us, as failure to do so will result in delay of any refund.

We do not refund return postage costs: it is your responsibility to return items to us; we recommend using a traceable service offering proof of delivery. So High Soho Ltd cannot be held responsible if anything is lost, stolen or damaged in transit.

Refunds will be made to the card that was used for the original purchase. Refunds are processed as soon as possible. Your bank/credit card provider can take up to ten working days to credit your account after we have notified them of a refund.

3.3 Store returns
Shop returns must be made within 14 days of purchase shown on receipt. Please note that if you have purchased your item directly in store and wish to return it, you MUST:
1.Bring a valid store receipt
2. Bring back your items in a unused and a saleable condition
3. Have your items in their original packaging, unopened without any seals, labels or tags tampered
4. If the retailer believes it has been used, we reserve the right to charge a hire fee of one third of the value of the goods. 


Credit notes and exchanges are done at the Manager's discretion.

3.4 Seasonal Returns
Seasonal items are deemed as items purchased during a particular festive season e.g. Halloween, Christmas etc… and sit outside of our standard return policy.

Any orders made within a seasonal period, if not satisfactory, MUST be returned within 5 days of purchase shown on email order confirmation or before the seasonal period end, whichever comes first.

Like non-seasonal items to qualify for a refund, seasonal items MUST be brought back in its original condition, together with any original packaging, unopened and unused without any seals, labels or tags tampered.

Halloween festive season: 1–31 October 2020
Christmas festive season: December 2020

None of the above affects your statutory rights.

3.5 Faulty Products
Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately as we will happily refund or exchange it for you. You should let us know as soon as possible via email and within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. We do check products before selling so as to be sure that they are not faulty. Products inside packaging are excluded from this standard. 

 


3.6 Non-refundable Items
We will not refund the following:
Items without a returns number
Items that have been used, cleaned, damaged or soiled
Items returned without full packaging
Items that are not odour-free. Returned items must be odour-free, including having no smell or residue of smoke or perfume or make up.

Please also note we DO NOT accept returns on any of the following product/item lines: makeup items, sale products, eyelashes, wigs, some eye accessories (contacts), masks, tights, lingerie and undergarments, tattoos and body jewellery and other select products. Some costumes have sealed wigs; in such cases if the costume is not appropriate do not open the wig as once opened refunds cannot be given on wig or the costume.

4. Disputed Items

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as 'Disputed'. Such Dispute items will not be refunded or exchanged and a reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such Dispute items back to you at a cost to yourself.

All refunds will be subject to a 25% restocking & handling fee plus the packing and postage costs incurred when originally posting your order out. 

5. Liability

We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, negligence, abnormal working conditions, willful damage, misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our approval.

6. Privacy Policy

We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order.

We do not store any customers financial or credit card details in any form.

We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals.

Your information provided to us during the ordering process is protected by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details. This server encrypts information while it is being transmitted across the Internet so that unauthorised people cannot read it.

So High Soho complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU Directive on personal data security. Any personal information that is collected or held will only be used in accordance with this legislation. The type of information held includes: name; address; phone number; email address; credit/debit card details; purchase information.

We may use this information for internal administration and analysis. All personal information will be held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We make every effort to ensure that the information we hold is accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we undertake to correct them promptly.
